About Gardenia Dancong Oolong Tea

This blend begins with Da Wu Ye Dancong from Guangdong, chosen for its rounded body and floral character. Qi Lan and Ba Xian oolongs from Fujian add aromatic depth, creating a tea base with both richness and lift.

The blended leaves are scented with fresh gardenia flowers, allowing them to take on the blossoms’ fragrance. The result brings together two expressions of floral aroma: the character of the oolong leaves themselves and the distinctive perfume of gardenia.

An elegant floral opening leads into a smooth, full-flavored cup. A gentle touch of bitterness adds definition before giving way to returning sweetness, known as huigan, and a lingering floral finish.
