A Top-Grade Ceylon Tea with a Unique, Full and Rich Taste with Citrus Notes

About Ceylon tea

Ceylon tea refers to teas from the growing regions of Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon. In altitudes between 1,000 and 2,000 meters, aromatic, flavourful teas grow. Ceylon teas are known for their medium-bodied, tangy, slightly malty, and fresh taste, often reminiscent of citrus fruits. Harvesting depends on the monsoon rains: where it doesn’t rain, harvesting occurs – in the island's centre year-round. Sri Lanka is one of the world's largest tea exporters, and Ceylon tea is a main component of many English blends.

Cultivation

This tea originates from the steep hills of the Nuwara Eliya Estate, where it is grown at an altitude of 8,000 feet above sea level. The Nuwara Eliya Estate is in one of Sri Lanka's most renowned tea-growing regions. The cool mountain air and mineral-rich soil contribute to the development of the unique flavour profile. The tea leaves are carefully picked and handled by hand to ensure the highest quality.

Effects

Ceylon tea is known for its revitalizing effect. It contains moderate amounts of caffeine, which can boost your alertness and concentration. It is also rich in antioxidants, which help to fight free radicals and strengthen your immune system. The subtle citrus note of this tea provides a refreshing taste experience that is both energizing and relaxing.

How to enjoy

Whether in the morning to start the day full of energy or in the afternoon as a refreshing break, enjoy this first-class Ceylon black tea pure or with a dash of milk to bring out the rich flavours fully. It goes perfectly with fine pastries, fresh fruit, or a light meal.

Upfront: A rich, comforting malty backbone.
Mid-Palate: Vibrant citrus undertones blended with sweet wild honey.
Finish: A clean, brisk, and lingering floral aftertaste.

(Perfect on its own for a bright, clean cup, or balanced with a splash of milk as you like.)

The UFO filter is made of food-grade, heat-resistant, and BPA-free PLA (corn fiber). It is 100% odorless and stays completely stable under boiling water—pure, safe, and planet-friendly.

Packaging: 7 Individual UFO drip tea bags per box.
Servings: Each UFO tea bag is designed for multiple infusions.
Net Weight: 24.5g (0.86 oz) | 3.5g per UFO drip tea bag.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

FAQs

UFO Drip Tea is designed for drip brewing, so we precision-cut whole tea leaves to improve extraction. The smaller leaf size allows hot water to release aroma and flavour more efficiently while maintaining the quality of whole leaf tea. Unlike tea dust or fannings, our leaves are carefully selected and cut specifically for this brewing method.

The UFO filter disc is made of food-grade, heat-resistant, and BPA-free PLA (corn fiber). It is 100% odorless and stays completely stable under boiling water.

It uses a pour-over method, similar to drip coffee—but designed for tea. You get the rich, clean taste of traditional tea without the messy loose leaves.

Yes, absolutely! You can refill your cup with hot water 3 times using the same UFO filter. The tea leaves are high-quality, so each steep brings out a fresh, rich flavor.

The UFO drip design also makes sharing tea easy. Enjoy the first brew yourself, then continue brewing and share the following infusions with friends or family. One tea bag can create multiple cups, making it a simple and enjoyable way to share tea moments together.

Yes, it fits almost any standard cup. The flexible UFO rim rests securely on mugs with a diameter of 7–9 cm (about 2.7 to 3.5 inches). No tipping, no slipping.

Yes. TimeBai UFO Drip Tea is designed for those who believe a good cup of tea is a small way to care for everyday life. Each UFO tea bag is individually sealed, lightweight, and requires no extra tea equipment — just a cup and hot water. Whether you’re traveling, camping, or hiking, you can still take a moment to slow down, brew a cup of tea, and enjoy a simple ritual wherever you are.
